I had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the spacious room with beautiful countryside views. The sun terrace and leisure room were perfect spots to unwind after a day of exploring. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection could be spotty at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience—definitely would recommend this place!

Very nice experience there. Everything was very good, hospitable staff, stunning location very close to beautiful gardens and hills and the hillside. Fruit juice, toast and cereals for breakfast, nice touch...

Ah, the dining experience! The hand-cut beef tartare from the Traquair Arms Hotel was an absolute delight, while breakfast at Glede Knowe was a feast with a plethora of options. Not to mention their lovely en-suite room with fine mountain views.
The car park was a bit daunting at first as the space is quite tight, but it added to the character of the place, so no worries there!

The hosts provided excellent local knowledge which enriched our experience .
The check-in process felt a bit tight, and a self-check-in option would greatly enhance convenience .

Initially thought it was charming, but the check-in was horrendously tight and I was expecting a welcome gift, honestly. The car park was so cramped-what a bother! The only silver lining was that the view was nice, but I mean, do I need to pay for scenery? Just couldn't bring myself to give more stars, sigh.

Can't recommend highly enough for a stopover
Comfortable room, good breakfast, with a lovely mountain view and convenient access to hiking trails nearby.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Superking bed in the room provides really good comfort, alongside a powerful shower. The location offers amazing views of the surrounding hilltops.
The check-in time felt a bit constricted for my liking. A self-check-in system for after hours could greatly enhance convenience, as not all travelers may fit within the strict time frame.

comfortable stay but minor check-in delay
The large en-suite room was very clean and perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful! The selection of cereals, fruits, and cooked options was more than enough to satisfy anyone. I loved the mountain view from my room. It added a great touch to the overall experience.
There was a minor delay in the check-in process upon arrival.

An lovely stay with fine views
I recently spent 2 nights here and was impressed! The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, offering amazing views of the hills. Breakfast was a highlight, with a mouthwatering selection that catered to specific dietary needs. Guy and Lesley go above and beyond to ensure a amazing experience. The only downside was that two days felt too short to enjoy everything this area has to offer!
